Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Her hair goes about to her lower back and she has a shoulder holster for her ray gun, the kind that has a strap on each shoulder and has the holster itself under her arm. She's a righty, so it would be under her left arm. I hope I didn't forget anything else, haha... Please and thank you

So atm I can't put up a picture since my scanner is suckish and my ipod is dying, so I'll just describe her. Her name is Sunshine Gunner and she's a fabulous killjoy. She has bangs that go straight across right over her eyes(her eyes are light blue) and they're bright red, and the rest of her hair is bright purple. she wears a bright purple and yellow leather jacket with a yellow Japanese style sun going across the front and her initials on the back in a yellow box. The jackets mostly purple with a yellow stripe down each sleeve. Theres 2 purple buttoned pockets on the front that go over the sun rays, and black shoulder pads that go to about the top of her breasts in the front, and to the top of the box with her initials in the back. The inside of the jacket is completely yellow and the collar goes up the the bottom of her chin. She has a red and white vertically stripped tank top under the jacket with a black american widow([link]) on the front. She just wears regular skinny jeans with a brown belt and normally has black aviator sunglasses because she's always in the desert. she wears brown work boots and has a purple and yellow ray gun([link] like those). hers is mostly purple and has 4 yellow stripes on the back of the part where that yellow one has stripes. The circle around the trigger and the accent thing(I'm so bad with guns haha...) on the handle are yellow, and she has "You're not alone" Written in yellow on the barrel. The little circle on the handle would be purple with a yellow sunburst kinda thing in the middle. Also. She's a bitch. I think that about covers it, haha
